Welcome to Pack One!
On this page, you will find important information that will help you start your Cub Scout Journey.
Cub Scouting is for families, not just children. The entire family is welcome to all events, meetings, and activities (unless otherwise noted). For safety reasons, we require a parent or guardian at every activity and meeting.
Organization
Cub Scouts is organized by Packs and Dens. One pack is made up of multiple dens. The pack includes all grades from K-5. Our pack and dens are fully inclusive of boys and girls.
Pack Meetings (Monthly)
Pack Meetings are held once a month on the 1st Friday (unless otherwise noted) at the Church of the Good Shepherd on Newtown Road. We do fun activities, games, and sometimes have guest speakers.
Pack Activities (Monthly)
Pack activities occur monthly (sometimes more often). Recent activities have included a game and overnight at the WooSox (Redsox AAA affiliate), camping in Ashburnham, a hike through Purgatory Chasm State Park, a trip to Plimoth Patuxet, and a Kickball game at the Elm Street baseball field. We try to stay within 1 hour drive.
Den Meetings (1-2 times per month)
Dens are where scouts will work on advancement to earn their belt loops, pins, and badges.
