Fall Campout

We had a great turnout for our Fall Campout! We were fortunate to find a big space at Treasure Valley Scout Reservation that could accommodate thirty-six people (in groups of 12) while maintaining social distance and observing all the current health and safety rules. At least three campfires were going which is probably a Pack record! Fishing, campfire songs, jokes, fire building, a bit of hiking, and even work on advancements were just some of the activities enjoyed. Not least, cooking over an open fire is always an adventure, there were more attempts than ever this year from sausage and pepper sandwiches (yum!) to campfire popcorn (yum!) to scrambled eggs in a bag (yuck!). And every family braved the cool weather to stay the night! An awesome job by all.
