Service to is important to Pack 1 as it is to all who believe in the Scout Oath and Scout Law. This year has been particularly isolating for many of our more vulnerable citizens and Pack 1 wanted to make sure that even if we can’t see everyone in person right now you are still all in our hearts. This month we delivered 81 handmade Thinking of You cards to more than a dozen members of our community. These folks were identified by our chartered organization The Church of the Good Shepherd as people who might benefit from a reminder that, even though it might feel like it right now, they are not alone. The Scouts did a great job stepping up with a bunch of cards that hopefully will brighten their day.
