The first Pack Meeting of the year was a blast! It was so great to be pack in our usual Pack Meeting location in the Church of the Good Shepherd. Scouts saw many old friends who have not been together in quite some time. And frankly I was surprised at how many new families we introduced to the Pack. Cub Scouts seems to be a great fit for many looking for fun, meaningful, outdoors activities to enjoy as a family.
After some administrative business we got right into the important part of the meeting: having fun! Scouts tried their hand at a slew of Old West themed games such at The Cattle Rope, The Bull Horns, The Sarsaparilla Shootout, Railroad Spike Driving, and more. Scouts who Did Their Best at a game received a ticket, which they could redeem for Wild West themed prizes at the Trading Post. What a super fun evening to kick off our Scouting year!
